Commercial freezers - how they work

Just like the principle used in ordinary refrigerators, commercial refrigerators use a compressor to compress liquid refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant, and then send it to the condenser to dissipate heat and become a low-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant, so the condenser blows out hot air. Then to the throttle device (usually using a capillary) to throttle and reduce pressure, it enters the evaporator. Due to the sudden increase in space after the refrigerant arrives at the evaporator from the capillary, the pressure decreases, and the liquid refrigerant will vaporize and become a gaseous low-temperature refrigerant, thus absorbing a large amount of heat, the evaporator will become cold, and the cabinet will be cooled by direct cooling or air cooling.

Commercial freezers - use precautions

Domestic freezers use AC 220V/50Hz power supply. If the power supply conditions do not meet AC 220V/50Hz (187-242V), an automatic voltage regulator above 1000W must be installed for use. A separate dedicated socket must be used and reliably grounded. The power cord of the freezer is equipped with a (grounded) plug that conforms to the standard three-wire (grounded) socket. Under any circumstances, do not remove or remove the third pin (grounded) of the power cord.

It is strictly forbidden to put flammable, explosive dangerous goods and highly corrosive acids, alkalis, etc. in the freezer. Do not use flammable sprays near the freezer to avoid fire. When there is a leak of flammable gases such as gas: close the valve for gas leakage; open the exhaust device and doors and windows; do not unplug or plug the freezer power plug; keep the key properly, and do not let children play in the cabinet to prevent accidents. Once the freezer is cut off from power, it takes more than five minutes to reconnect to avoid damage to the compressor or system. For maintenance, the power plug must be unplugged.

After the freezer is installed in place, the plug should be accessible to prevent the power plug from being unplugged in time in case of danger. If the power cord needs to be lengthened, the cross-sectional area of the extension cord should not be less than 0.75mm2. If the power cord is damaged, a special cord must be used and the local after-sales services staff of the freezer company must be contacted to replace it. Do not put food in the freezer that has just been connected to the power supply immediately. After the empty cabinet runs for a period of time (about 3 hours in summer and about 2 hours in winter), put the frozen food into the cabinet for storage. After the freezer is moved, it needs to stand for more than ten minutes before turning on the power supply. Regularly clean the freezer and unplug the power plug before safe cleaning. Regular dust removal of the heat exchanger in the cabin can improve the heat exchange efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Commercial freezers with mechanical defrosting should be defrosted regularly to avoid excessive frost layer increasing the energy consumption of the freezer. When defrosting, transfer the goods in the cabinet first, let it stand for a period of time until the frost layer melts, and then use the defrost shovel equipped with the freezer. Avoid using sharp objects to defrost brute force to avoid damage to the inner wall of the freezer.
